In 1996, Stephen Scheibly and Giovanni E. Coello formed Diversified Design Associates - Architects, P.C., a full service Architectural, Interior Design, and Construction Management firm with the intention to meet a variety of needs for their clients.
They realized that their backgrounds were drawn from distinctly different experiences and that together they would be able to provide an extensive scope of services ranging from comfortable residential homes and apartments, unique interior design, and efficient construction management to wide-ranging commercial, corporate, retail and healthcare structures. However, they would distinguish themselves by adhering to the overarching goal that each structure on which they collaborated would be executed with an incomparable flair. They have drawn upon their vast experience as flexible, deft, and resourceful problem solvers while working from a position rooted in a balance of design and technical proficiency to help their clients achieve their goals. Stephen and Giovanni take pride in their drive to approach each project with enthusiasm, creativity, and tremendous energy. Their number one priority is that their clients do not feel anonymous in a large firm but instead, form long-standing relationships with them in order to serve as a one stop firm for all of their architectural needs.
Stephen Scheibly RA
Stephen is co-founder and managing partner of Diversified Design Associates - Architects, P.C, a distinguished architecture and interior-design firm located in Huntington, New York. After obtaining a Bachelor of Architecture degree from New York Institute of Technology in 1989, Stephen worked in a variety of architectural arenas, designing everything from small homes to nationally recognized retail stores. During this time, he developed the philosophy that the quality of architecture should not be compromised by a project's scope or budget. It was this vision that led him to form Diversified Design Associates in 1996.
For over twenty years, Stephen has worked as an architect and project manager on all types of construction and design projects including educational facilities, retail spaces, residential homes, and commercial properties. His dependability, talent, and commitment to excellence have earned him the position of project architect for some of the area's most discerning clients. Additionally, he is the primary architect for all residential design projects at his company. Stephen's dedication to every aspect of his profession has been a key factor in the continuing success of his firm, as well as in the enduring satisfaction of his clients.
Giovanni E. Coello RA
Giovanni is a registered Architect in the state of New York and New Jersey. After obtaining a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1989, from New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, Giovanni practiced architecture and interior design in various respected firms in both Manhattan and Long Island which refined his knowledge of aesthetics in suburban and urban settings. Giovanni has worked on various types of projects ranging from healthcare to retail and commercial office interiors. His strong background in interior design and construction has allowed him to express unified and cohesive architectural concepts with a particular sensibility towards the human condition.
Giovanni deeply believes in the accessibility and functionality of design. His work has been distinguished by several national and international companies who have chosen him to design their corporate headquarters. In his recent years of professional practice, Mr. Coello has rounded off this experience by assuming the role of construction manager on several projects. Giovanni's passion for excellence in design aesthetics and meticulous client service has led Diversified Design Associates to attract a large clientele who look to him for their architectural and construction needs.
